Conference Center

The Conference and Exhibition will take place at the Miami Beach Convention Center (MBCC) located near South Beach’s famed Art Deco district.

The Miami Beach Convention Center first opened its doors in 1957 and has been home to many historical events such as the one in 1964 where Muhammad Ali celebrated his first World Heavyweight Boxing Title.

The Center is located in the heart of Miami and is approximately 30 minutes away from the International Airport. With its prime location adjacent to one of the most popular beaches, many business friendly hotels are situated within walking distance to the city center and Conference Center.

In the last six years, the facility has made numerous upgrades, including complete renovations of all restrooms, full carpet replacement, and installation of a state-of-the-art telecommunications and networking infrastructure which allows the Center to support technology needs.

Altogether, this makes Miami a premiere destination for the ISPAD 2011 Annual Meeting.
